Just hours after releasing her new single "Perfect Illusion," Lady Gaga revealed some information about her upcoming album, specifically regarding guest features.
“Me and [Florence + the Machine's] Florence Welch did a duet together," she said during an interview Friday on BBC Radio 1. "I started to work on an idea for a song that I really wanted to do with a girl. You’ll see why when you see what the song is about ... She’s really—to me—if not the best, one of the greatest vocalists in the world."
Gaga also confirmed both Beck and Father John Misty will appear on the record, which is clearly shaping up to be a not-so-commercial-pop affair. As we previously mentioned, "Perfect Illusion" was produced by Mark Ronson, Tame Impala's Kevin Parker and BloodPop (Grimes, Charli XCX).
The singer also confirmed early Friday morning that Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme played guitars on "Perfect Illusion."
There's currently no word on when Gaga's new album will arrive, but word is it could be out before the new year.
