Mac Miller's performance at this weekend's PromoWest Fest in Columbus, Ohio, has been canceled, the festival has confirmed.
Referring to the rapper by his legal name Malcolm McCormick, organizers tweeted that he "has decided to take some time off in July to deal with personal health issues," further explaining: "He apologizes to his fans who were expecting to see him and promises to be back soon."
In addition to the festival appearance, Miller's July 28 show at Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino in Iowa has also been scrapped, according to Ticketmaster's website. That date was part of the Stir Cove concert series, which includes shows by other performers such as Weezer and M83.
Miller has been on tour this summer in support of his third album GO:OD AM, which he released last September, marking his debut on Warner Bros. Records.
As of this writing, it's unknown which other dates, if any, might be affected. A rep for Miller did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
