It's a big week for Ed Sheeran. The British singer-songwriter has been tapped to join NBC's hit series The Voice and now he'll be headlining the legendary Madison Square Garden.

Following news that Sheeran, Cher, OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder and Miguel will join the Peacock network's singing competition as mentors (Cher is reportedly teaming up with Blake Shelton!), it has now been confirmed that the critically acclaimed "Lego House" singer will be headlining the massive MSG.

Radio host Ralphie Aversa revealed the news on his show, citing a month-old interview with Sheeran. The singer later verified the report.

Tickets for the Nov. 1 show—a fitting followup for the musician, who's been touring all summer in support of Taylor Swift—go on sale this Friday (Aug. 23).
