USA's Mr. Robot has promoted two of its cast members to series regulars and added Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott (best known as rapper Joey Bada$$) in a recurring role.
Michael Cristofer and Stephanie Corneliussen, who recurred in the first season as Evil Corp CEO Phillip Price and as the cunning and devious Joanna Wellick, respectively, will both be seen more prominently in the second season when it returns this summer.
Meanwhile, Joey Bada$$ will play a close friend of star Rami Malek's Elliot. His character is described as someone with deep philosophical thoughts who regularly gives Elliot advice.
Mr. Robot, Variance's Best TV Show of 2015, won Best Drama Series earlier this year at the Golden Globe and Critics Choice Awards.
