While the recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony generated mostly positive buzz, it appears at least one aspect of the event didn't resonate with Iggy Azalea: Lorde performing with the surviving members of Nirvana.
"Nothing against her, but I think when you're doing a tribute to someone that's dead, generally it should be the person's peer," Azalea told Billboard in her new interview. "Lorde is not Kurt Cobain's peer. No matter if she killed the performance or not, I just don't think it's appropriate."
Of course, Lorde likely had little to do with the collaboration, considering Dave Grohl has clearly been a fan of the "Tennis Court" singer since at least this year's GRAMMYs. And events such as the Hall of Fame's induction ceremony are always open to ideas for garnering interest from younger fans. So don't be surprised if you see Iggy Azalea herself at next year's event.
