Only two months after the conclusion of Parks and Recreation, Aziz Ansari is back in business, set to star in a new comedy rumored to be based on his life.

Netflix has ordered the project straight to series with a 10-episode first season already locked in, although little is known about the plot. Parks co-creator Mike Schur is executive producing the show along with fellow Parks executive producer Alan Yang, the latter of whom co-created this new series with Ansari.

As the The Hollywood Reporter, points out, production for the series has already begun in New York with a cast that includes Jon Benjamin (also of Netflix's Wet Hot American Summer reboot), Lena Waithe (The Comeback), Noel Wells (Saturday Night Live) and Kelvin Yu (Bob's Burgers writer), among others.

The news comes as Netflix is clearly making a big push for additional original programming. The streaming service revealed Monday it is launching a Full House sequel series next year.
