Timbaland said during Thursday night's ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards that Missy Elliott's long-awaited comeback single, produced by Pharrell Williams, will arrive in July.

"I love my sister to death," Timbaland told the crowd. "And I’ma say it now. Her first single is from my cousin—and yes we are family—Pharrell."

As we previously reported, Williams said back in April he has been in the studio with Elliott, who herself shared a photo of the pair working on new material this past February.

Interestingly, next month marks 10 years since the release of Elliott's last album, The Cookbook, which also featured songwriting and production from Williams.
