Kanye West was asked Monday if Michael Jackson might be the greatest performer of all time, to which the rapper responded: "That's a big statement," he said, before jokingly acknowledging, "Donald Trump is really entertaining to me."

West's comments came during the Google Zeitgeist event in Scottsdale, Ariz., during which he commented about a number of topics, including his own future ambitions.

While the MC was hesitant to name the best performer of all time, he called himself the "most authentic artist of our day," cautioning that he didn't know a "humble way" of making such a statement.

Having previously revealed he'll run for president in 2020, West also described his visions of bringing people together and "improving the world." He continued: "I've always wanted to make things that are color-free ... We are one race."
