Festival season is now fully underway, with SXSW 2017 now in the rearview mirror. 

This year's extended Music Festival portion, which included an extra day of showcases, saw performances from established names such as Lil Wayne, Solange, Weezer, T.I. and Jimmy Eat World, but perhaps unlike some other years, the focus seemed to be trained on the recent successes of Lil Yachty, Migos, Francis and the Lights and Lizzo, as well as emerging stars such Noname, Maggie Rogers, The Lemon Twigs, Jacob Banks, Mondo Cozmo, Rag'N'Bone Man, Lo Moon and more.
