With August finally here, that means SXSW has officially opened early registration for next year's event—its 30th edition.

As of Monday morning at 10 a.m. CST, prospective attendees can register for the Austin-based fest's Music, Film and Interactive divisions, with badges starting at $525, $650 and $825, respectively.

Registration and hotel rates are typically lowest through September and gradually increase towards the end of the year.

The festival confirmed last month that NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will be among the 2016 Interactive speakers, while Music usually reveals its first wave of official acts in October.

SXSW 2016 is set for March 11-20, with Interactive on March 11-15, Film on March 11-19 and Music on March 15-20.
