The When We Were Young Festival has added a second date for its 2025 event, bringing another wave of emo, pop punk, and alternative nostalgia to Las Vegas. The festival will take place Oct. 18 and 19 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds after originally being slated for one day. Much like last year, overwhelming demand led organizers to add a second date, cementing the event’s reputation as one of the biggest celebrations of the 2000s-era scene.
Headlining the weekend are Panic! at the Disco, reuniting for a special one-off performance, and Blink-182, who continue their run as one of the most enduring acts from the genre. Panic! at the Disco will perform their 2005 debut album A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out in full to mark its 20th anniversary, giving fans a rare chance to hear songs that defined an era. Blink-182 is expected to deliver a set packed with hits that span their career, from Enema of the State to more recent releases.
The rest of the lineup is a stacked list of icons and fan favorites. Weezer, Avril Lavigne, The Offspring, All Time Low, The Used, Knocked Loose, Yellowcard, Ice Nine Kills, Motionless in White, Simple Plan, Taking Back Sunday, The Gaslight Anthem, Jack’s Mannequin, Never Shout Never, and The Rocket Summer are all confirmed. Other notable names include The Plain White T’s, Beartooth, Bad Religion, Alexisonfire, Mayday Parade, PVRIS, The Story So Far, Boys Like Girls, The Starting Line, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, The Movielife, The Amity Affliction, Crown the Empire, and many more, rounding out a bill that reads like a high school playlist come to life.
Tickets first went on sale last fall with general admission, GA+, VIP, and VIP Cabana options available. GA+ offers added amenities like lounge access and air-conditioned restrooms, while VIP upgrades include premium viewing areas and private lounges. For fans looking for the full experience, VIP Cabanas come with exclusive perks such as complimentary bottles and private entry.
Since its move to Las Vegas in 2022, When We Were Young has grown into a cultural touchstone for a generation raised on eyeliner, power chords and Myspace profiles. By combining full-album performances, reunion sets, and a lineup packed with scene legends, the festival offers more than just a concert. It creates a vivid time capsule that bridges past and present, inviting fans to relive the soundtracks of their youth in the heart of the desert.
