It had been rumored for weeks, but Childish Gambino has made it official: He's performing at SXSW, specifically at the MTVu Woodie Awards, which are set for March 13 in Austin.

Gambino is nominated for the "Did It My Way Woodie" award, where he's up against Kanye West, Beyoncé, Arcade Fire and Bob Dylan.

The lyricist-actor himself tweeted last week, alerting fans to "go to SXSW." Well, that's why.

Chicago rapper Vic Mensa and Bleachers (led by fun.'s Jack Antonoff) will be also be performing earlier in the day prior to the Awards.

Other performers are expected to be revealed starting this week.
