She & Him has revealed plans to release a new covers album, titled Classics, which will mark the duo's first full-length on new home Columbia Records.

According to a press release, the 13-track set is a collection of "carefully-selected, timeless standards." It is due this fall, although a specific date has not been announced.

Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward (aka She & Him) recorded the album live, aiming to capture "the spirit of the songs in their truest form" with the assistance of a full 20-piece orchestra.

"We are incredibly excited to release a record of our favorite songs," Deschanel said in a statement. "It was a dream of ours to record these songs in a way that highlighted the brilliance of the songwriting and the beauty of their melodies. We had a wonderful time making the record and we hope people have a wonderful time listening to it."
