While Kendrick Lamar was performing on Wednesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, his collaboration with Taylor Swift, "Bad Blood," was climbing the charts to No. 1.

As of Wednesday, the song had rocketed all the way up to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, dethroning Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's "See You Again," with 385,000 downloads and 18.1 million U.S. streams.

Swift and Lamar co-starred in the cameo-heavy "Bad Blood" video, which premiered during last week's Billboard Music Awards, giving the track a lofty debut at No. 53. But the song was always destined to be a much bigger hit.
