True Detective will premiere its eight-episode second season on June 21 (!!!) at 9 p.m., HBO has confirmed.

As we previously reported, the new installment of the crime thriller will star the likes of Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams, Taylor Kitch and Kelly Reilly.
