Rihanna hasn't forgotten about you.
In between her film career and upcoming Savage x Fenty lingerie line, the singer has indeed been working on new music—a reggae album, in fact, according to her new Vogue cover story.
While much of the new editorial focuses of Rihanna's aforementioned projects, including the release of Ocean's 8, out on June 8, she notes she is in the early stages of her followup to ANTI, which arrived two years ago.
Unlike with that last album, fans shouldn't expect Drake to appear on the next one, because it appears the two aren't on the best of terms at the moment.
"Waiting through that [2016 VMAs speech] was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast," she said of receiving the MTV Video Vanguard Award from Drizzy, adding: “We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.”
