Some of Kesha's upcoming tour dates are being postponed.
The singer revealed Tuesday she is being forced to delay performances in Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Japan because of an injury. She tore her ACL after falling during a concert earlier this month in Dubai.
The 11 dates affected had been scheduled to start on March 25 in Australia. Ticket holders are encouraged to hold on to their tickets and await information about the rescheduled shows.
"It’s my biggest joy in life to share my music with my fans all over the world," Kesha said in a statement. "But I have to follow my doctor’s orders and undergo surgery so I can get ready to give it my all on my summer tour and beyond."
She added: "Moving these dates is making me sick with sadness, but I tried to will this injury away and unfortunately it didn’t work. I love you all and I’ll work every single day, as hard as I can, to recover and get back on stage as soon as possible. I’m so sorry and sending love always."
Kesha's joint tour with Macklemore, which starts on June 6, is expected to continue as planned.
