Migos has once again topped the U.S. charts.
The Atlanta rap trio has nabbed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with their newest record Culture II, the followup to last year's Culture, which was their first chart-topping album.
According to Nielsen Music, Culture II moved 199,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Of that total, only 38,000 were from traditional album sales, highlighting a strong debut on streaming platforms.
As some critics have noted, the album was definitely aided by its 24-song tracklist, as Nielsen and Billboard now consider 10 tracks sold from the same album as one album (aka track equivalent album).
With its latest chart-topper, Migos is now only the fifth rap group to nab multiple No. 1 records, following the Beastie Boys, A Tribe Called Quest, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and D12.
