After hinting at new music in recent weeks, Foster the People took a major leap on Tuesday, revealing a new spring/summer tour starting next month.

In addition to previously announced festival appearances at Neon Desert Music Festival in El Paso, Lollapalooza in Chicago and Osheaga Festival in Montreal, the now-four piece outfit led by Mark Foster will hit the road beginning May 26 in San Diego.

Coming ahead of a new album expected later this year, the band's trek includes stops in Las Vegas, Dallas, Tulsa, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Detroit and Nashville, with international shows also on the schedule and additional dates to come. Tickets for this first round go on sale this Friday (April 7) at 10 a.m. local time.

As we previously reported, bassist Cubbie Fink left Foster the People back in 2015. Shortly after his departure, the band released a new song called "The Unforeseeable Fate of Mr. Jones."
