For fans anxiously awaiting a new Childish Gambino album, new clues suggest it may be out sooner rather than later.
As one Reddit user pointed out, multiple Amazon stores and at least one FYE brick and mortar location are advertising a Dec. 2 release date for Awaken, My Love! by Childish Gambino (aka Donald Glover).
Glover shared and performed some new music back in September as part of his Pharos Experience in Joshua Tree, California. Rumors of a full album immediately followed.
Adding to speculation, Glover included a new Childish Gambino song in an episode of his new FX series Atlanta.
While a Dec. 2 release is unusually late in the calendar for an album, it certainly wouldn't be out of character for the emcee, considering his last full-length, 2013's Because the Internet, also arrived in December.
A rep for Glover did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
