After producer Hudson Mohawke suggested Thursday on Twitter he had worked on music for James Blake, the latter says he's "respectfully baffled" by that claim.
"As talented as I think he is, I've never worked with Hudson Mohawke," the singer carefully tweeted on Friday. "And don't know what he's talking about. I'm respectfully baffled."
Blake's response follows an increase in fan speculation due to Mohawke's tweets, which seemed to confirm he had demoed music for both Blake and Frank Ocean, who continues to tease his own long-awaited album Boys Don't Cry.
"None of this music is confirmed as ever seeing the light of day," Mohawke previously warned, before admitting he was "not [gonna] leak anything."
