A television series inspired by characters and elements from Bob Dylan's extensive song collection is in the works at Amazon Studios.

Variety reported Thursday the project, titled Time Out of Mind after Dylan's 1997 album, is being led by writer-director Josh Wakely, who has a "wide-ranging rights deal" for the musician's full catalog.

It's unclear the details of the series, but it won't be Amazon's first venture into music-themed projects, as the streaming service also has a Grateful Dead drama in development, with founding member Bob Weir producing.
