With One Direction debuting a new song this past week, many U.K. music observers predicted the mammoth act would topple Avicii and Aloe Blacc's new collaboration, "Wake Me Up," from the top spot. Not the case, however.

"Wake Me Up," which we previously reported is the U.K.'s fastest-selling song of the year, remains at No. 1 for a second week, adding 155,000 additional units to last week's record-breaking 267,000.

Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," featuring Pharrell and T.I., slips to No. 3, while John Newman's new track, "Love Me Again," is at No. 4. Rounding out the top five is Icona Pop's worldwide hit "I Love It," featuring Charli XCX.
