Following numerous reports and rumors, it appears we finally know what Arcade Fire has planned for Sept. 9.
According to The Daily Beast, director Anton Corbijn (whose previous music collaborators include Nirvana and U2) has confirmed that he has directed the video for the band's new single, titled "Rekleftor," which is set to arrive on Monday (Sept. 9).
“I’m working on a really great song at the moment: Arcade Fire’s new single,” Corbijn said. “The song is called ‘Reflektor,’ and you’ll be able to see it Monday evening" According to the director, fans will want to "watch the TV Monday evening.”
Why the TV?
The video will reportedly premiere at 9 p.m. Monday. The band's album, also said to be titled Reflektor, is set to arrive on Oct. 29.
