Ed Sheeran hasn't just been hanging out while touring with Taylor Swift this past year.

Now residing just outside Nashville, the singer has told Rolling Stone he's been hard at work on future projects—yes, plural. "I've demoed 70 songs," Sheeran said. "I'm hoping to release three [albums] in three years."

Of course, putting together an actual album from those demos will take some time, but as further evidence of the priority this new material is taking, Sheeran also revealed that he's already got Jeff Bhasker (who's previously worked with Swift and Kanye West—separately, of course) and the all-powerful Rick Rubin to produce.

In January, the "Lego House" singer told Billboard that he anticipated an album would release in February 2014. At that time, he had "around 26 songs" ready to go.

This latest news comes as demand for Sheeran reaches an all-time high, with his Madison Square Garden date selling out in just a few minutes, prompting a second date to be added. His 2011 debut record, +, is now multi-platinum worldwide.
