As politicians in Washington debate whether to finally get their act together, D.C.'s 9:30 Club has responded to the current "government shutdown" with a deal for music lovers.

Called the "Affordable Ticket Act," a nod to the healthcare legislation commonly known as Obamacare (Affordable Care Act), the promotion offers fans buy one, get one free pricing for select tickets throughout October.

The discounted tickets include dates for The Flaming Lips, Steve Aoki with Pharrell Williams, Andrew W.K., Tame Impala and more. Tickets must be purchased by midnight Wednesday (Oct. 2) using code "930ATA."
