No surprise here, but Damon Wayans Jr. is staying put on New Girl.

Despite being one of the season's most in-demand actors for the upcoming season, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Monday afternoon that Wayans will be promoted for the Fox comedy's fourth season.

Wayans was originally booked to return to New Girl this past season as a "guest star" following the cancellation of ABC's Happy Endings.
