Saturday Night Live has added one additional new face to its ranks for the coming season.

Deadline reported Monday that 20-year-old comedian Pete Davidson has joined the cast as a featured player. He will be the only new featured player—not counting Michael Che—added to the upcoming 40th season.

Davidson's previous credits include Nick Cannon's Wild ‘N Out and Guy Code, both on MTV2. He quipped during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this year that he had "just turned 20 and it’s over, I’m not going to make it.'"

As we previously mentioned, Che has been recruited from the writers pool to co-anchor SNL's "Weekend Update," which would also technically make him a "featured player." Last season saw the departures of freshmen players Brooks Wheelan, Noël Wells and John Milhiser, as well as veteran Nasim Pedrad.

Chris Pratt and Ariana Grande will open the 40th season on Sept. 27.
