Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown died on Sunday, her family confirmed this evening. She was 22.

"She is finally at peace in the arms of God," the Houston family said in statement on Sunday. "We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."

Brown, who was born on March 4, 1993, had been in hospice care for the past few weeks, following an incident back in January when she was found unconscious in a bathtub in her Georgia home.

Her sadly bears other unfortunate similarities with that of her mother, who was found dead in a hotel bathtub on Feb. 11, 2012, which happened to be the eve of the Grammys.

Brown starred in the reality show The Houstons: On Our Own following her mother's death. She had aspired to become an actress and singer.
