After laying low for much of the past year, Norah Jones is ready to hit the road again, having announced a new set of live tour dates starting in October.

The Grammy-winning singer noted that she's "never been to most of these places" where she'll perform on the upcoming trek.

Jones became a mother last February and she's only given occasional public performances since then, including David Letterman's final week of Late Show episodes earlier this year.

It's been over three years since the release of Jones' last album, 2012's Little Broken Hearts, although she did team up with Sasha Dobson and Catherine Popper last year to form a country-roots side project Puss N Boots, whose debut album, No Fools, No Fun, arrived last July.
