MTV on Tuesday revealed the dates for some of its 2016 awards broadcasts, including the mtvU Woodie Awards, MTV Movie Awards and Video Music Awards.

The MTV Movie Awards are set for Sunday, April 10, and the MTV Video Music Awards will fall on Sunday, Aug. 28, similar to this year's calendar.

In contrast to previous years, however, the Woodies—which are held annually during SXSW in Austin—are moving up slightly. Whereas this year's live telecast took place on a Friday, near the end of SXSW, the 2016 edition is set for Wednesday, March 16.
