After breaking the Vevo record for most video plays in 24 hours, Adele's new single "Hello" has unsurprisingly debuted at No. 1 and broken a U.S. record in the process.

Nielsen Music reported Monday the track sold a mammoth 1,112,000 downloads in its first full week, the most of any other song in history. That's more than enough to surpass and nearly double Flo Rida's previous record of 636,000 downloads sold for his 2009 hit "Right Round."

Interestingly, Billboard reports the song was streamed 61.6 million times in the U.S. during its first week. And it clearly didn't have an impact on the track's sales.

The song, Adele's first new music since 2012, serves as the lead single off the singer's upcoming third album 25, which is out Nov. 20.
