This is not a drill: The cast of Friends is reuniting on-screen for a two-hour special on NBC next month.
TVLine first reported the news Wednesday, explaining the long-awaited reunion will be part of a star-studded tribute to veteran sitcom director James Burrows, who directed 15 episodes of Friends.
The entire gang—Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry—are all expected to be on hand, as well as the casts of other major series, such as Taxi, Cheers, Frasier and Will & Grace.
This year marks 22 years since Friends first aired on NBC. And while this might not be a proper reunion, it's still very welcome news for fans of any of the aforementioned beloved shows.
Set to tape later this month in Los Angeles, the special will air Sunday, Feb. 21 at 9/8c.
