As he prepares to release new music later this year, Donald Glover is re-releasing his 2011 Childish Gambino EP, simply titled EP. It includes his breakout cut "Freaks and Geeks."

The project is expected to arrive Wednesday at midnight on streaming platforms, as part of his creative agency Wolf + Rothstein's partnership with Stem.

The reissue follows his first Grammy Award win on Sunday for Best Traditional R&B Performance ("Redbone"). It also comes as he confirmed after the ceremony he is indeed retiring the Gambino moniker, after releasing one last album, which he has been teasing since his Governors Ball performance last summer.

According to Billboard, Glover has a number of musical "surprises" planned for 2018, with this reissue serving as just the "beginning."

RCA Records confirmed just last week Glover had signed a new deal with the company, marking his first time on a major label. The actor-director-musician noted during his post-Grammys press conference he will still be releasing music, just not under the Childish Gambino persona.
