Rising songstress Ella Vos has released her debut album Words I Never Said.

The new project arrived Friday across digital platforms, following the previous release of singles such as "White Noise," "Down in Flames," "You Don't Know About Me" and "Mother (Don't Cry)." As both an artist and new mother, Vos reflects on a number of very personal issues, including postpartum depression, abortion, women’s reproductive rights and more.

"Words I Never Said is an album about my experiences and feelings I’ve encountered over the past 22 months," the singer says of the new record. "It truly is words that I’ve been too afraid to say out loud—for fear of being vulnerable, too feminine, too weak or too emotional. Well, so be it, I am all those things! I’m proud of it, and I think we need more of it in the world today."

The album's release follows Vos' recent headlining tour, which included stops at Bonnaroo and Life Is Beautiful festivals.
