The Neighbourhood is officially back.

The group on Friday unexpectedly released a new EP called Hard. The five-track collection, which marks the Jesse Rutherford-led outfit's first set of material since their 2015 album Wiped Out!, follows a string of hints about a new music as well as a handful of shows in the past year.

"I know I've been sketch. But this time I'm gonna treat you right," Rutherford wrote to fans on Twitter following the EP's release. "You deserve it. I genuinely appreciate you."

He also assured fans he has "so much music to show you," adding: "I know the wait has been 'HARD' (😏😉🤷‍♂️)."

Hard was produced Lars Stalfors, who has previously worked with Cold War Kids, Local Natives and Matt and Kim. Hear it below and stay tuned for more from The Neighbourhood.
