Hundred Waters are getting a head start on the busyness of Friday's new music releases by putting their new album Communicating out on Thursday.

The 11-track record, out today via the band's longtime label OWSLA, follows their last full-length The Moon Rang Like a Bell, which was one of Variance's Best Albums of 2014. It includes their previously released, stunning single "Blanket Me," which arrived back in July.

As we previously mentioned, the new album is a very personal one, with bandmates Nicole Miglis and Trayer Tryon's relationship serving as a driving force. According to a press release, the new material "raises questions of romantic and non-romantic love, self-realization, growing apart and finding understanding."

Noting the record is indeed about a "breakup," Miglis said, "We learned, we loved, we separated, and now it’s time for the next chapter."

While Communicating is now on streaming platforms, a physical edition is available now for pre-order, with options including a standard CD, a single LP vinyl and a special sequined double-LP which includes the band's recent Currency EP. Those versions ship in four to six weeks.
