With their debut EP Time (How to Love) out on Friday, Peruvian outfit Hunters of the Alps is giving Variance a listen one day early.

The four-track collection, which is being released through indie label Mishu Records, is an impeccable set of sparkling, synthy gems, led by the previously released title track. It is available for pre-order here.

“We started this EP as an experiment and excuse to play together and it turned into a labour of love that saw us travel to South America and NY in order to fine tune the tracks,” the band said of the project. “Each song has marked the different stages of our beginning and now we are ready to share it with everyone. This is the beginning.”

The EP follows the band’s appearance alongside the likes of the Flaming Lips and Cold War Kids at Miami’s House of Creatives Music Festival, as well as stints opening for Tanlines, Twin Shadow and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

The Time (How to Love) EP can be heard below. It is officially out tomorrow (Feb. 17).
