After teasing a new album last month, Band of Horses has confirmed plans to release the record, titled Why Are You OK, in June.

While an official release date has not yet been announced, the band on Monday shared the first single "Casual Party" as well as details about the album, which was executive produced by Rick Rubin.

According to a press release from the group, they had been struggling with their new material until frontman Ben Bridwell received a call from Rubin, who had heard a Band of Horses song on the radio and was prompted to call them. "Without going into details, Bridwell can’t stress the value of this phone call enough. It was exactly the final push that his songs needed on their journey from conception to being sent out into the world."

The band has also announced the initial dates for their upcoming world tour, with additional shows to be announced.
