It's only been a few days since Rick Ross found out he'd be able to keep his stage name, but now that he's got a lawyer on call, he's coming out swinging.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the rapper has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against the pop duo LMFAO, Kobalt Music Publishing and Kia Motors America over the band's 2011 hit "Party Rock Anthem," with lyrics that declare, "Everyday I'm shufflin'."

Ross claims the phrase infringes on his own hit "Hustlin'," which contains the same phrase, except "hustlin'" instead of "shufflin'." So he's taking the guys to court.

In addition to more than 7 million copies sold, "Party Rock Anthem" has been licensed for film, television, ads and video games, while the phrase has been prominently featured on band merchandise, promos, clothing and accessories.

While the lawsuit should be an interesting one to follow, it's curious timing, considering the more than two years that have passed since LMFAO's song peaked in popularity.
