Fans waiting for Ed Sheeran's next album, the followup to 2011's +, can take comfort in knowing that it should be here by October.

Sheeran announced new tour dates this week for Ireland and the U.K., and while that may have little impact on those back in the States, his manager Stuart Camp confirmed on Twitter that the album will be released before the newly revealed dates, which begin on Oct. 6 in Dublin.

The British singer-songwriter previously predicted his album might release in February, but that has likely changed. He has additionally revealed on Jan. 2 that he is adding at least one more song to the record.
