After previously suggesting his time as Wolverine would soon come to an end, Hugh Jackman during a stint on Thursday's episode of Dr. Oz, of all places, left no question about it: "This will be my last one," he confirmed.

“It is my last time,” he said of the third untitled Wolverine film, which is due in 2017. “It just felt like it was the right time to do it. And let’s be honest, 17 years. I never thought in a million years it would last, so I’m so grateful to the fans for the opportunity of playing it."

The 46-year-old actor first debuted his iconic character in the first X-Men film, which was released in 2000.
