Azealia Banks says K. Michelle is "unfortunately unavailable this fall" and their upcoming joint tour has been canceled.

Banks took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to let her fans know that she had received an email from K. Michelle's reps informing her the tour would be canceled.

The rapper expressed disappointment in the news, specifically because it was her "first U.S. tour," but she promised that her team "will work on an alternative plan to try and keep some of the dates in order. New tour dates will be up soon!"

Cancellation of the 19-date tour, which was being co-sponsored by BET, comes only two weeks after the trek had been announced.

K. Michelle subsequently said on Instagram that she is "crushed" about the cancellation, explaining that she has overexerted herself and needs to "postpone the tour." She also made clear: "There is absolutely no drama between me and Azealia. We have a mutual respect for each other as women and artists. I can't wait to get in the studio with her and for you all to hear what she's been working on.

According to K. Michelle, low tickets also weren't to blame. "Due to such an overwhelming response with this tour there have been conversations about adding a second show in various cities," she said.

All previously purchased tickets will be refunded.
