Andy Samberg returned to his Saturday Night Live roots to host the season finale this weekend.

He brought along Seth Meyers, Bill Hader, Martin Short and Maya Rudolph, the latter of whom joined in on the cold open for the show's parody of the JAY Z-Solange battle. In the sketch, which we totally predicted, the Knowles and Carter family members explained that they are all on good terms, even supplying audio from the elevator.

St. Vincent was the musical guest and performed two tracks off her new album.

A sketch later in the evening also reunited the popular kissing family, with Kristen Wiig, Fred Armisen, Paul Rudd, Rudolph and Hader all taking part.

Samberg also delivered two new Digital Shorts, one of which satired producers such as Avicii and DJ Snake. The second featured Pharrell in a clip about sharing hugs. 2 Chainz showed up for the return of Blizzard Man, aka Samberg as a terrible rapper which was previously one of his recurring characters.

"Waking Up with Kimye" also sought to provide details about Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's upcoming wedding this month.
