London newcomer Aislinn Logan has released her first new music of 2018, starting with her entrancing new single "Spree."

An accompanying set of visuals for the stirring track arrived Wednesday. The clip, directed by Theo Watkins, is premiering today on Variance.

“No matter how close you get to someone, you will never know absolutely everything there is to know about them,” Logan says of the new song, which is about the space that exists in relationships. “You'll never know what's happening in their head, what they're actually thinking. Maybe there is a nihilism to that—but it’s also important, there's a secret there, a self-sufficiency you’ll always hold onto. A thing no one will ever really know.”

The track is the first of several expected in the coming months. And while "Spree" does dive into a serious angle of relationships, she promises a "messy and fun". track and a "layered, lo-fi techno" inspired cut are also on the way.
