Ahead of his new album Darkness and Light, John Legend has shared a powerful new video for his single "Love Me Now."

The clip was directed by Kanye West and Frank Ocean collaborator Nabil Elderkin. It blends footage of Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen and their daughter Luna, along with scenes of love in such locations as North Dakota's Standing Rock Reservation, the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, the Domiz Refugee Camp in Northern Iraq and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic.

It's worth mentioning the video was filmed prior to Tuesday's election, but Legend said Wednesday he "will not give up," going to say, "I will continue to be aware and vigilant. I will continue to speak out for justice ... In this time of conflict and uncertainty, it's clear that we all need more love.”

As we previously reported, Darkness and Light is out on Dec. 2. It features guest appearances from the likes of Chance The Rapper and Miguel.
