Up-and-coming British crooner Sam Frankl has shared a new set of visuals for his debut single "Macondo," which arrived late last year.

Frankl was one-half of the former duo Red Room, but he's most recently found success with poetry and writing music of his own, which he's been doing more of lately.

The singer's father stars in the clip, with Frankl noting he's "essentially embodying my elder self." The video is set in a secondhand camera shop, where "the lenses and camera parts serve as a metaphor for the character’s memories," according to the musician. "He tends to them, restores them and views them. The light flares that we see are shots of the inside of camera lenses, ostensibly, they are taken from the view of the protagonist.”
