As Australian singer Jarryd James prepares to release his North American debut album High, he's shared an emotional set of visuals for his track "1000x," a collaboration with New Zealand duo Broods.

The cinematic clip follows a couple as they journey from love's first moments to the cruelty of infidelity and eventually to forgiveness and second chances.

"I wanted there to be an element of darkness to the video that would contrast the nature of the lyrics,” James said of the song, which is more about love than the heartache seen in the video.

The clip, directed by Jessie Hill, can be seen below (via Billboard), while the full record is out on July 29.
