AC/DC is postponing their upcoming U.S. tour, which was scheduled to begin Tuesday in Atlanta.

Lead singer Brian Johnson has been "advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss," a rep for the band confirmed to Variance on Monday afternoon.

Their entire slate of performances through April will be rescheduled for sometime later this year, "likely with a guest vocalist" according to the band's publicist.

Further information is expected at a later date, but fans who previously purchased tickets can redeem them at the rescheduled show or request a refund at the point of purchase.
