While some of last year's biggest-selling music-makers may have been "snubbed" by or a little too late for the GRAMMYs, the fact is, they sold a lot of albums and singles.

Topping the album sales for 2013 is unsurprisingly Justin Timberlake, whose The 20/20 Experience (Part One) sold 2,427,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Over on singles, Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," featuring T.I. and Pharrell, pushed 6,498,000 copies, down a few hundred thousand from 2012's top-seller, Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know," featuring Kimbra, which sold 6,801,000 in that calendar year.

Interestingly, 2013's No. 1 and No. 2 albums match that of the year 2000, with Timberlake and Eminem, respectively. Of course, this time, JT is solo. It's the sixth time Eminem ranks in the year-end top 10, tying Garth Brooks, Mariah Carey and Beyoncé, all of whom have had as many.

Speaking of Bey, her self-titled album did, as we previously mentioned, sweep its way into the top 10, closing out the year as the eighth-best selling album of 2013 with just 17 days available for purchase. And even with that small window, she managed to top her husband, JAY Z, whose July 4 release Magna Carta... Holy Grail landed at No. 10 for the year. Additionally, it's also the first time a husband and wife have separately made the year's top 10-selling albums.

As for singles, some others have bragging rights as well. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are the only act with two top 10 singles for the year, "Thrift Shop," featuring Wanz (No. 2), and "Can't Hold Us," featuring Ray Dalton (No. 8), the former of which previously sold a lofty 1,118,000 back in 2012, and still managed to sell high this past year.

At No. 5, Lorde's "Royals" also gives the 17-year-old singer the honor of having the top-selling song by a female artist, topping upperclassmen in the pop field Katy Perry and Rihanna.
